The physical site of the reporting team headquarters in imvu are within the main McLau Familys Affairs & Bussiness Office.

Another Case of Credit Scam
Do not ever give up your password.
A new case of credit scam was reported by several users. This time an avatar named as IcySweetDreams21 pretended to be a credit seller and offered a great quantity of credits at a very low price.
The procedure for delivery of the credits to the buyer involved its password had to be given to her. Same old trick.
This girl IcySweetDreams21 is part of a team of cheaters.
and see she is not alone.
You may also see that some persons who were cheated sent her a msg showing their anger.

Further developments in the case of the Credit Scam
Scammers Strike Again and are alive
This time it wasn't about credits. It was a clear act of revenge.
A girl in imvu got her picture stolen by some other person, let call this person "the impostor".
Then, after a close revision, it was possible to determine that the impostor had the same date of registration in imvu than the credit scammer mentioned above: lCarlyAnnLuna
Is it a simple coincidence?

Why this? just a revenge for having reported the scam intent?
The victim who had her picture stolen from MySpace became aware of this fact whe she browsed the web profile of the first scammer and found a person in the list of friends with her stolen picture.
It is a double felony case: scam & stolen identity
We hope Imvu officials take part in this case and flush the scammers away.

Never give up your password. If someone must transfer credits to you, there is an option specially designed for that purpose, there is no need in giving up the password.

This morning at 05:00 PST Imvu had a network colapse. Many chat session were interrupted.
Edition wil continue when the network is restored.

But it is a place with some risks. I met a girl who was very kind and friendly and we chatted trivialy for a while then she asked me: "Do you want a link to make you see yourself nude?"
Is that possible?-I asked
"Sure, try this link". -And gave me a link to click on.
Before doing that I searched it in a WhoIs site and learnt the domain was either Hindi or Arab. A strange site not to trust in. Not for being arab or hindi, it was awkwardly displayed in my browser. So I suspected it might be a kind of trap.
Then I looked at her profile and saw she was 11/11/11 arrived but displayed a much better development in her avatar than just two days of practice in imvu could afford.
I let her know I wouldn't click on the link. Afterward, she left without saying goddbye.
Later and before leaving I tried to know the meaning of the name of the place; it is what I told about above. Thanks to a gentle syrian guy who translate it for me.
